Call the engineering line first
Talk to us before you ship anything. We’ll triage on the phone — sometimes we can rule out a fault remotely, sometimes we’ll suggest tests before you remove the unit. Saves you downtime if it’s something simpler.

Ship it in (or drop it off)
Tracked courier to our Mullingar workshop. For production-critical units, mark it priority and we’ll prioritise on arrival. Mullingar drop-off welcome.

Free initial assessment
Visual inspection, power-up under controlled load, fault confirmation. We’ll quote the in-depth diagnostic stage at this point if it’s needed.

In-depth diagnostic
Schematic-led troubleshooting, scope work on rails and comms, component-level isolation. Quoted upfront. You see the diagnostic report before any repair commits.

Fixed-price quote & PO
Once we know what’s needed, fixed-price quote in writing. We’ll accept your PO format and quote in your reference. Engineering notes included so your maintenance file is complete.

Repair & load-test
Component-level work, ultrasonic clean where appropriate, full functional test on the bench under simulated load. Standard turnaround 5–10 working days; rush turnaround on request.

About industrial repairs
Our vendor says the unit is obsolete — can you still repair it?
Often, yes. Vendor end-of-life usually means "we won’t sell replacement boards" rather than "the failed components can’t be sourced." We work at component level and source ICs, caps, MOSFETs and FETs from open distribution. If parts genuinely can’t be sourced we’ll tell you.
Can you do on-site work?
On-site diagnostic is available within Ireland for production-critical situations — usually faster to remove and bench-test, but sometimes the fault is in wiring, the panel, or a sister unit, and on-site is the only way to find it. Quoted by the day plus expenses.
How fast is rush turnaround?
Depends on the unit and the fault. For standard repairable units (drives, PSUs, simple PLC failures) we can often turn around in 24–72 hours under rush priority. Quoted at the in-depth diagnostic stage.
Will the repair affect compliance / safety certification?
For functional safety-rated kit (SIL2, SIL3), repair re-instates original component spec but doesn’t carry a fresh safety certificate — that requires the OEM. For most industrial PLCs, drives and HMIs there’s no recertification issue. We’ll always flag if there is.
Can we get a written repair report?
Yes — every industrial repair comes with a written report covering what we found, what was tested, what components were replaced, test results before and after. Suitable for inclusion in your maintenance / EAM file.
Do you stock spare boards?
We hold and source common spares for major lines — Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, ABB, Yaskawa. For obscure or vendor-only boards we’ll quote sourcing as part of the repair. Some repairs are quicker by swapping a spare you already hold.
Can you sign NDAs and CDAs?
Yes — routine for our pharma and food customers. Send yours through and we’ll sign before you ship anything.
Do you also supply refurbished industrial spares?
Yes — we hold and source refurbished drives, PSUs and PLC modules where they make sense. Often a smarter spare-holding strategy than new for obsolete lines. Ask.
