If it’s electronic, we’ll have a look.
TVs, monitors, audio gear, drones, cameras, vintage hardware, weird one-offs. Most high-street shops won’t touch anything outside the obvious; we will. Component-level repair, soldering work, cable repairs — bring it in.
The stuff most repair shops won’t look at
If your device has a power supply, a circuit board and a problem, chances are we can help. Free initial assessment so you know before you commit.
TVs & monitors
Dead backlights, lines on screen, no power, HDMI ports gone, capacitor failures. LED, OLED, plasma where parts are sourceable.
Audio gear & amplifiers
Bluetooth speakers, soundbars, hi-fi amplifiers, headphones, DJ controllers, in-ear monitors. Loose ports, broken cables, dead drivers.
Cameras & lenses
DSLR and mirrorless — broken LCD screens, stuck shutters, sensor cleaning, lens contact repair. Sometimes board-level where parts are available.
Drones & RC equipment
DJI, Parsons, racing drones, RC cars and planes. Crashed gimbals, broken arms, propeller motors, FPV goggles, battery management.
Soldering & component-level work
Failed capacitors, blown resistors, dry joints on motherboards. Microscope soldering, BGA work, surface-mount component replacement.
Cable & connector repair
Frayed laptop charging cables, broken headphone jacks, USB cables that only work at one angle. Replace ends, solder repairs.
Vintage & retro hardware
Old computers, retro consoles (NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Atari, Amiga), vintage hi-fi, classic synths. Capacitor replacement, ribbon cables, power supply rebuilds.
One-offs & oddities
Smartwatch, e-bike controller, weird vintage thing, custom hardware, a project gone wrong. If it’s tech and it’s broken, ask — we love a challenge.
How an unusual repair gets handled
-
1
Tell us about it first
WhatsApp or call. Describe the device and the fault. We’ll let you know if it’s the kind of thing we typically take on before you make a trip.
-
2
Free initial assessment
Drop it in or post it. We’ll bench it, no charge, and tell you what we think’s wrong.
-
3
Honest quote
For component-level or unusual work, we’ll quote a fixed price after the initial assessment. If parts are hard to source we’ll tell you upfront.
-
4
Repair & collect
Timing depends on the device and parts. Common stuff in days; rare or vintage work can take longer.

Bring it in. We’ll tell you what we think is wrong before we touch anything.
No fix, no fee
If we can’t fix it, you don’t pay for the repair.
Component-level skills
Surface-mount soldering, microscope work, BGA reflow, capacitor replacement. Real electronics work, not just “swap the board.”
12-month warranty
Every repair backed for 12 months. If our work fails, we re-do it — or refund.
About electronics repairs
My TV has no picture — can you fix it?
Often yes, depending on the fault. Common ones (capacitors, T-CON board, backlight LEDs) are usually fixable. Cracked screens on large TVs usually aren’t economical to replace — we’ll tell you honestly which.
Do you fix monitors?
Yes — gaming monitors, office monitors, ultrawides. Power issues, dead pixels (limited), HDMI/DisplayPort problems, backlight failures.
Can you repair my drone?
Often, yes — DJI especially. Snapped arms, crashed gimbals, broken propeller motors, FPV goggles. DJI Care covers some failures within warranty so try them first if you have it.
Do you work on vintage / retro hardware?
Yes — old computers, retro consoles, vintage hi-fi, classic synths. Capacitor replacements, power supply rebuilds, ribbon cable repairs. Parts can be hard to source for vintage gear; we’ll let you know upfront.
How long does it take?
Common stuff (cables, capacitors, basic soldering) usually within a week. Component-level work and vintage repairs depend heavily on parts availability — sometimes days, sometimes weeks.
What if you can’t source the parts?
We’ll tell you upfront. Sometimes we can substitute with equivalent components; sometimes the repair just isn’t viable. Free initial assessment so you know before any money changes hands.
Do you do soldering jobs?
Yes — we’re equipped for SMD work, BGA reflow, microscope soldering. Bring the device or the board, tell us what you need.
My headphones have a loose jack — can you re-solder it?
Usually yes — provided we can open the cable or housing without destroying it. Bring them in.
Post it in — we work on devices from across Ireland.
Tracked courier both ways, free initial assessment when it arrives, written quote before any work. Timing varies by device and parts — we’ll give you an honest estimate after the assessment.
