Won’t turn on
Dead laptop, dead tower, dead Mac. Could be PSU, battery, RAM, board or screen. We’ll find it — free initial assessment to identify the fault.
Painfully slow
Takes 5 minutes to boot? Fan running constantly? Usually a worn-out hard drive, full disk, or bloatware. An SSD upgrade and a clean reinstall fixes 90% of slow PCs.
Virus / malware removal
Ransomware, browser hijacks, fake antivirus pop-ups, Russian search engines — we’ll clean it out and lock it down. Your files preserved where possible.
Cracked or dim screens
Laptop screens replaced for most makes — Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, MacBook. iMac glass and full panel replacements available too.
Keyboards, hinges & ports
Sticky keys, dead trackpads, snapped hinges, USB-C ports that won’t charge. Replacement parts in stock for most major laptop brands.
Hard drive / SSD failure
Drive making clicking noises? Disappearing files? Drive replacement, data migration, SSD upgrades to bring an old laptop back from the dead.
RAM & SSD upgrades
Make an old laptop feel new. Often the cheapest performance boost there is. We’ll spec it for your machine and fit it the same day.
Overheating & fan issues
Burning hot laptop? Fans like a jet engine? Usually dust, dried thermal paste, or a failing fan. Clean and re-paste service available.

About computer repairs
Will I lose my data?
For most repairs — screens, keyboards, batteries, RAM/SSD upgrades — your data stays exactly as it was. For an OS reinstall, virus cleanup or drive replacement we’ll always migrate or back up your data unless the drive is too damaged to read. Back up anything irreplaceable to iCloud, Google Drive or an external drive before dropping it in if you can.
How long does it take?
Most diagnostics are turned around within a day. Common repairs — SSD upgrades, RAM, batteries, screens, keyboards — usually 1–3 working days. Board-level work or hard-to-source parts can take longer; we’ll give you an honest time estimate before we start.
Do you fix Macs?
Yes — we work on MacBook (Pro, Air), iMac, Mac mini and Mac Pro. Screens, batteries, ports, SSD upgrades on Intel Macs, logic-board diagnostics, OS issues, data migration. We’re not an Apple Authorised Service Provider, so if your Mac is still under AppleCare, that’s your first call.
Can you make my old laptop fast again?
Usually, yes. An SSD upgrade and clean OS install transforms a 5–7 year old laptop. We’ll tell you honestly whether your specific machine is worth the upgrade or whether a refurbished newer one would be better value.

Can you recover my data if the drive is dead?
Often, yes — see our data recovery page. Class 100 cleanroom available for physical drive failures. Free initial assessment.
What if my laptop has liquid damage?
Don’t turn it on. Get it to us fast. We’ll open it, dry it, clean the board and tell you honestly what’s salvageable. Free initial assessment, board-level diagnostic quoted separately if needed.
