HDMI port replacement
The classic PS4/PS5 fault — black screen, no signal, port wobbly. Component-level repair, port removed and replaced. We do this almost every day.
Disc drive problems
Disc won’t go in, won’t come out, won’t spin, won’t read. Belt replacements, laser cleaning, full drive swaps. PS4, PS5 (where possible), Xbox.
Overheating & fan issues
Console sounds like a jet engine? Shuts down mid-game? Dust build-up, dried thermal paste, or a failing fan. Full clean and re-paste service available.
Joycon drift / Stick drift
Character walks on its own? Aim wandering? Switch joycons and PS5/Xbox sticks all develop drift with use. Module replacements, in and out in under an hour.
Blue light / red light of death
Console won’t boot, just blinking lights. PSU failure, board fault, or stuck firmware. Bench-tested to identify the cause.
Liquid damage
Drink spilt into the vents? Console got wet? Bring it in fast. We’ll open it, clean the board and tell you what’s salvageable.

About console repairs
My PS5 / PS4 HDMI port is broken — can you fix it?
Yes — we do this all the time. It’s a component-level repair where we desolder the old port and solder a new one onto the board. Most are done in 2–3 working days. Warranty applies for 12 months.
Can you fix Switch joycon drift?
Yes — usually a 30-minute repair to swap the stick module. We can also do PS5 DualSense and Xbox controller stick drift while you wait if we have parts in stock.
Will I lose my game data?
For most repairs, no — the storage stays with the console. For hard drive or SSD failures, depends on what we’re replacing and why. We’ll always tell you upfront if data preservation is a risk.
How long does a typical repair take?
HDMI port and joycon drift: same-day or next-day. Disc drives, fans, board-level work: 2–5 working days. Liquid damage: depends on extent, usually 5–7 days as we’ll need to dry and clean the board.
Do you fix PS5 disc drives?
PS5 disc drives are paired to the motherboard via firmware, so they can’t be cleanly swapped. We can sometimes repair (lens, belt, motor) but if the drive’s electronically dead it’s usually a motherboard re-pair job — we’ll be upfront about whether it’s worth doing.
Is my console still under warranty?
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all offer 1–2 year manufacturer warranties depending on region. If yours is still within that period, contact them first — our repair voids any remaining manufacturer cover.
Can you fix water / drink damage?
Often, yes — if you bring it in fast. Don’t turn it on. The sooner we open it, clean the board and check for corrosion, the better the odds. Free initial assessment so you can decide based on what we find.
Do you sell refurbished consoles?
Sometimes — check our shop or ask in store. If your console is beyond economic repair, a refurbished replacement is often the smart call and we’ll be honest about which way to go.
