Cracked glass or LCD
iPad glass replacements, full LCD assemblies, Galaxy Tab and Surface screens. Tablets are notoriously fiddly — we have the tools and the experience to do them right.
Battery replacement
Tablet only lasting an hour? Battery swelling, pushing the screen up? Replacement restores original runtime. We’ll also re-seal it properly afterwards.
Charging port repair
Won’t charge, won’t click in, only works at one angle? Usually a damaged or dirty port — quick clean or replacement gets it charging properly again.
Home button & TouchID
iPad home buttons fail with use. Replacement modules available — though TouchID can’t always be re-paired by anyone except Apple. We’ll explain the trade-off upfront.
Won’t turn on
Black screen, no response to the power button. Could be battery, board, charge port, or screen. Free initial assessment to identify the fault.
Software, iCloud & resets
Boot loops, locked-out devices, “iPad is disabled” messages, iCloud activation lock recovery (where you can prove ownership), software restores.

About tablet repairs
Are iPad screens just glass or glass + LCD?
Depends on the model. Newer iPads (iPad Pro, iPad Air from gen 4, recent iPad mini) have the glass bonded to the LCD — a cracked glass usually means the whole assembly. Older iPads have separate glass and LCD; sometimes only the glass needs replacing. We’ll tell you which after the assessment.
Will Apple Pencil still work after a screen replacement?
Yes, if we use the right grade of replacement screen. We always check Apple Pencil compatibility before quoting on Pro models.
How long does it take?
Most tablet repairs done in 1–3 working days. Screen jobs sometimes same-day if we have stock for your model — ask before you drop in.
Will I lose my data?
For most repairs — screen, battery, ports — your data stays untouched. For software repairs or board-level work we’ll let you know in advance and recommend a backup via iCloud or Google.
What if my iPad has an iCloud activation lock?
If you can prove the iPad is yours (receipt, original Apple ID), we can help work through Apple’s activation lock removal process. If it’s second-hand and locked to a previous owner, we can’t bypass it — nobody can — you’ll need to track down the original owner.
Do you fix Microsoft Surface devices?
Yes — Surface Pro, Surface Go, Surface Book. Common issues are screens, batteries, keyboards. Surface internals are tighter than most tablets so expect a slightly longer turnaround.
Do you also fix Android tablets?
Yes — Samsung Galaxy Tab, Lenovo, Huawei MatePad. Stock parts depend on model; we’ll let you know what’s feasible after the assessment.
Will the water resistance still work after?
Most tablets aren’t officially water resistant to begin with, but for the few that are, opening the device breaks the factory seal. We re-seal with fresh adhesive but can’t guarantee IP rating — safer to treat it as not water resistant once repaired.
