Allen-Bradley fault stopping the line? We repair Rockwell kit.
Component-level repair of Allen-Bradley PanelView HMIs, ControlLogix / CompactLogix / MicroLogix PLCs, PowerFlex drives and Kinetix servo drives. When Rockwell quotes replacement on an obsolete unit with a long lead time, repair is usually days, not weeks. Trusted by Irish food, pharma, packaging and process plants.
The Rockwell automation we see on the bench
If a unit is obsolete or end-of-life and replacement means a long lead time, talk to us first. We work at component level and source parts from open distribution — so a discontinued PanelView or PowerFlex usually isn’t the end of the road.
PanelView & PanelView Plus HMIs
PanelView Standard, PanelView Plus 6 & 7, PanelView 800. Touchscreen replacement, dead backlight, cracked glass, failed PSU section, comms-port damage.
ControlLogix & CompactLogix PLCs
ControlLogix 1756, CompactLogix 1769, MicroLogix and SLC 500. CPU faults, dead comms, battery and memory issues, failed I/O and analogue cards.
PowerFlex drives
PowerFlex 4, 40, 400, 525, 753 and 755. IGBT failures, blown DC-bus caps, fault codes (F004 undervoltage, F012 overcurrent), dead control and comms boards.
Kinetix servo drives
Kinetix 300, 350, 5500 and 6000 servo drives. Power-stage faults, control-board failures, feedback and comms issues.
1756 / 1769 I/O & comms
1756 ControlLogix and 1769 CompactLogix I/O, EtherNet/IP and ControlNet comms modules, RSLinx connectivity hardware. Card-level repair where economic.
Industrial power supplies
Rockwell and panel-mounted 24V DC supplies feeding AB racks. Failed caps, MOSFETs and rectifiers — the quiet failure that drops a whole control panel.

How an Allen-Bradley repair gets handled
-
1
Call the engineering line first
Tell us the catalogue number and the fault — fault codes, dead comms, no power. We’ll triage on the phone and sometimes rule out a fault before you remove the unit.
-
2
Ship it in (or drop it off)
Tracked courier to our Mullingar workshop. Mark production-critical units priority and we’ll handle them first on arrival.
-
3
Free assessment & fixed quote
Visual inspection, controlled power-up, fault confirmation, then a fixed-price quote in writing against your PO reference before we commit any repair.
-
4
Repair, load-test & return
Component-level repair, functional test under simulated load, returned with a written repair report and 12-month warranty. Standard 5–10 working days; rush on request.
Real engineers. Real workshop. Honest pricing.
Component-level skills
Microscope soldering, hot-air rework, BGA work, schematic-led troubleshooting. We fix the failed component instead of board-swapping — you keep the same hardware at a fraction of replacement cost.
Rush turnaround
Standard 5–10 working days; rush on request for units that are stopping your line. Quoted upfront.
NDA & PO procurement
NDA available, PO numbers in your reference format, framework-agreement quoting. See our business page for the procurement side.
12-month warranty
Every Allen-Bradley repair backed for 12 months, with a written repair report for your maintenance file.
About Allen-Bradley repairs
Our PanelView is obsolete and Rockwell quoted a full replacement — can you repair it?
Usually, yes. Most PanelView failures are touchscreen, backlight, cracked glass or PSU-section faults, all of which we repair at component level. Obsolete from Rockwell means they’ve stopped selling it, not that it can’t be fixed.
Can you repair a PowerFlex drive showing a fault code?
Yes. Codes such as F004 (undervoltage) and F012 (overcurrent) usually point to IGBT, DC-bus capacitor, gate-driver or control-board faults. We repair at component level and load-test before return.
Do you repair ControlLogix and CompactLogix processors?
Yes — CPU faults, dead comms, battery and memory issues on 1756 ControlLogix, 1769 CompactLogix, MicroLogix and SLC 500, plus the associated I/O and comms modules.
How fast is an Allen-Bradley repair?
Standard turnaround is 5–10 working days. For production-critical units we offer rush turnaround — often 24–72 hours on common drive and HMI faults — quoted upfront.
Is there a warranty on the repair?
Yes — 12 months on every industrial repair, with a written report listing what we found, what we replaced and the before/after test results.
