Every device we sell goes through a 40-point inspection by our in-house team in Mullingar. Worn batteries replaced, scratched screens renewed, faulty buttons fixed. Battery, display, camera, ports and speakers all tested.

Then we grade purely on cosmetics. Performance is identical across grades — the difference is how the device looks, not how it works. Every grade carries the same 12-month warranty.

New

Brand new in sealed packaging. Never used. Full original accessories and warranty.

Grade A+ — Pristine

Looks and feels new. Includes never-used returns, ex-demo units (briefly used in a shop), and factory-refurbished stock from the manufacturer. Indistinguishable from new in everyday use.

Grade A — Excellent

Refurbished and fully tested. Possible minor cosmetic marks, only noticeable on close inspection under bright light. Our most common grade and the best balance of price and condition.

Grade B — Good

Visible signs of use — scratches, nicks or wear on the casing. Cosmetic only, fully functional, biggest discount on refurbished stock.

Grade C — Fair

Heavy signs of use. Cosmetic only, fully functional. Our lowest price when available — ideal if budget matters more than appearance.

We’re straight with you on grading. If something’s a Grade B, we call it Grade B — we don’t soften the language. The grade is on every product page and the photos show the actual stock condition.

Refurbished laptops come from different source markets, so the keyboard layout varies. The keys are the same physical shape; the position of punctuation and currency symbols differs. For Ireland, you want English UK (also called Irish on some units).

English UK / Irish — the Ireland default

£ on Shift+3, @ next to the Enter key, # on Shift+3 (alt). What you grew up using. Most refurbished laptops sourced from the UK and Ireland.

English US

No £ key — $ takes its place. @ moves to Shift+2. Different Enter key shape (horizontal vs L-shaped). Will type English fine; takes a few days to adjust if you’re used to UK.

German (QWERTZ)

Z and Y are swapped, ß on its own key, special characters in different spots. Will type English fine but the muscle memory is genuinely different.

French / Belgian (AZERTY)

A and Q swapped, Z and W swapped, numbers require Shift to type. Different enough that we don’t recommend unless you specifically want it.

Nordic (SE / FI / NO / DK)

QWERTY base with å, ä, ö on their own keys to the right of L. Otherwise close to English UK in feel. Easy to adjust to.

Other European (Dutch, Swiss, Spanish, Italian…)

QWERTY-based with local accent and punctuation positions. Generally fine for English typing.

Every unit we sell lives in one of two places before it gets to you. We tell you up-front so you can plan around it.

Mullingar Shop

Stock sitting in our shop in Mullingar, ready to grab and ship the same day you order.
Delivery: 1–2 working days anywhere in Ireland.
Store collection: Same day — usually within an hour of order confirmation. We’ll send a text when it’s ready.

Warehouse

Stocked at one of our warehouses. QA-tested in our Mullingar workshop before it ships.
Delivery: 2–3 working days anywhere in Ireland.
Store collection: 2–3 working days (we’ll text you the moment it’s ready in Mullingar).

Either way, every device gets a 40-point inspection in our Mullingar workshop before it goes out, and carries the same 12-month warranty.

What does refurbished mean?

A refurbished device has been professionally tested, repaired where needed, and certified to work like new. It's not a "used" device — it's a renewed one.

What warranty do I get?

Every device comes with a 12-month warranty. If anything fails during that period, we replace or refund it.

What if I change my mind?

You have 14 days from delivery to return it for a full refund — no questions asked.

How long does shipping take?

Order before 3pm Mon-Fri for next-day delivery to most of Ireland. Free shipping on orders over €100.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes — we offer Klarna and Humm, so you can split the cost into 3 monthly payments at checkout.
